The arrests were made following a raid on a home in south Dublin
Over 1 million euro worth of drugs have been seized in south Dublin.
Two people have been arrested following a search by Gardaí last night.
Gardaí attached to the Dublin East divisional drug unit carried out this raid at a home in Sandyford in Dublin shortly before 7.30pm yesterday evening.
There they uncovered 560-thousand euro worth of heroin and cocaine valued at 490-thousand.
The search was conducted as part of Operation Tara, that was set up last year in a bid to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks.
A man and a woman, who are both aged in their 50s, were arrested.
They're being questioned at Dundrum Garda station, where they can be held for up to a week.
Gardaí say the investigation is ongoing, with further updates to follow.
