Naas aim for Leinster Hurling Final spot.

GAELIC GAMES

The Naas hurlers can earn a place in the Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship final today.

Tom Mullally side return to O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, to take on Dublin champions Na Fianna.

The semi final throws in at 3pm.

There will be full  commentary on More Music Sportsbeat Saturday here on Kfm.

Ger McNally and Seamus Dillon will describe the action.

The winners will play either Kilkenny’s O'Loughlin Gaels or Kilcormac Killoughey of Offaly.

They contest the other semi final in Tullamore at 1.30.


SOCCER

The Premier League returns after the international break a top of the table clash.

Leaders Manchester City are a point clear of  Liverpool ahead of their lunchtime meeting at the Etihad Stadium.

Newcastle look to recover from back to back defeats when they host Chelsea at St James' Park.

 

Bottom side Burnley can move out of the relegation zone if they register a first home victory of the campaign when they take on West Ham.

Strugglers

Sheffield United and Bournemouth meet at Bramall Lane,

Luton host Crystal Palace and Brighton travel to Nottingham Forest.

 

Third place Arsenal go to Brentford in the late kick-off.

They'll end the day at the summit with a win and a City and Liverpool draw.

RUGBY

Leinster are virtually back to full strength for this evening's United Rugby Championship derby with Munster at the Aviva Stadium.

The visitors will line out with South Africa's Jean Kleyn in the second row - but Peter O'Mahony misses out through injury.

Kick off is at half-six.

The first Irish province into action is Connacht - they face the Bulls in Pretoria from 3pm Irish time.

Ulster are in Scotland for a meeting with Glasgow from 7.35.

 

BOXING

Katie Taylor will look to avenge her defeat to Chantelle Cameron tonight.

Having suffered defeat in their bout earlier this year, Taylor squares up to the undisputed super lightweight champion once again in Dublin.

The pair are expected on stage at the 3-Arena at approximately 10.30 pm.


RACING

There's an eight-race card at Punchestown today.

The first is off at 11.40am.
