The Roads Policing Unit based in Naas carried out a Special Speed Operation on the Sallins Bypass resulting in the detection of 17 drivers exceeding the speed limit of 80 km/h.
Among them, one driver was recorded traveling at 125 km/h while operating a vehicle with a bald tire.
Fines and 3 penalty points were issued to all drivers.
