Another accomplice, Sean Atowo (23), of Roseberry Hill, Newbridge, also pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing on May 26 pending a probation report.
A catering company employee who led a scheme to steal more than €30,000 from his employer at the Aviva Stadium has been sentenced to 18 months in prison.
Roy Oti (22), according to the Irish Mirror, was described as the "ringleader" of the operation.
He was found guilty of stealing €13,974, while his accomplices stole smaller amounts using the same fraudulent method.
Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard that the group manipulated the cashless SumUp card reader system, redirecting customer card payments to their personal accounts.
Oti, of Rosse Court Rise, Balgaddy Road, Lucan, pleaded guilty to theft between June and November 2022.
He has eight previous convictions.
His co-accused, sister Nikkel Oti (21) and Chidera Anago (22), admitted to participating in the thefts over shorter periods.
Nikkel Oti stole €2,371, while Anago, of Letts Field, Ninth Lock Road, Clondalkin, stole €4,888.
Neither had prior convictions.
Another accomplice, Sean Atowo (23), of Roseberry Hill, Newbridge, also pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing on May 26 pending a probation report.
A fifth co-conspirator previously received a one-year suspended sentence, while a sixth individual is awaiting sentencing.
The court heard how the employees exploited their access to the stadium’s payment system to funnel funds into their own bank accounts during shifts.
The sentencing judge condemned the systematic nature of the thefts, emphasising the breach of trust involved.
