It happened in Duleek at 6.40am.
Two men have died in a three car collision in Co Meath.
The crash happened this morning at 6.40am on the R152 at Keenogue in Duleek.
The driver and only occupant of a van involved in the collision, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 30s who was the driver and only occupant of a car involved was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with serious injuries, and he has since passed away.
The road remains closed for a technical exam and gardai are appealing for witnesses.
