Four more stops should be added to the Red Line Luas as part of Dublin Port's expansion, according to a Fine Gael TD.
James Geoghegan is calling for the tram system to cross the River Liffey towards Poolbeg on the new bridge as part of the 3FM plans.
The planning application for the estimated 1 billion euro project will bring the Port to its full capacity by 2040, as well as build a new Maritime Village with public parks and community spaces.
Deputy Geoghegan says the Luas extension could easily fit into the Port's plans:
