A 33-year-old man was arrested.
Cannabis worth €1.63 million euro has been seized in Clondalkin in Dublin.
A 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene yesterday when gardai and revenue officers stopped and searched a vehicle.
They found 155 kilos of cannabis resin and 35 kilos of herbal cannabis.
Gardai say the operation is part of ongoing investigations targeting people believed to be involved with an organised crime group operating in the Dublin and Meath area.
The man is being questioned at Ronanstown Garda Station where he can be held for up to a week.
