Ireland is to provide 20 million euro in funding to the UN agency responsible for the welfare for Palestinian refugees.
Tanaiste Micheal Martin announced the funding for UNRWA this morning, saying it will help aid the agency's financial crisis.
It's after a number of donors suspended funding, amid allegations from Israel that some staff members were involved in the October 7th attacks by Hamas.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Phillippe Lazzarini welcomed the funding, saying it will reach cash-flow problems from March if frozen contributions are reversed.
