A Dublin shopping centre, that's one of the biggest in the country, is to introduce parking fees, the changes at Liffey Valley will kick in before Christmas.
A major refurbishment of Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in west Dublin is currently underway, that the retail hub says will make it easier, safer and less stressful to park at the centre as customer numbers increase.
As part of the project a six-bay bus interchange is being built in the car park under BusConnects, while new lighting, walkways, and cycle lanes are also being installed.
However, the changes also include paid parking that will be introduced during the final three months of the year.
It will cost €2.50 for the first hour, with the next two free. However its expected staff will get a discount.
The new ticketless, cashless system will use automatic licence plate recognition technology.
