Gardaí in Cork are conducting an investigation into the death of a man who was assaulted at a house in the city almost a month ago.
The man was found with serious injuries on the street at Glentrasna Court, the Glen, on the northside of the city on 11th March.
He was aged 69, and was from the area.
The man was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he died yesterday.
Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margot Bolster will conduct a post-mortem examination on the man's body at the hospital today.
A man in his late 20s has already been charged with assault causing harm to the man.
