Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene.
There are major delay on the M50, due to a road traffic collision.
The M50 Southbound at Junction 6 is expected to remain closed until after 6pm this evening, following a crash near Blanchardstown in Dublin earlier today.
The collision happened southbound between Junction 6 Blanchardstown and Junction 7 Lucan/Palmerstown.
Diversions are in place and motorists are warned to expect 40 minute delays on alternate routes across West Dublin, heading into the City Centre.
Dublin approaches from the M1, M2 and M3 are all affected.
Gardaí say to expect significant delays to your journey, and if possible use alternative routes.
