Gardai are investigating after the body of a woman believed to be aged in her mid 50s was discovered trapped under a car in a housing estate in a Co Wexford village.
The alarm was raised by neighbours who discovered the woman’s body trapped under a car in a driveway outside one of the homes.
The housing estate was sealed off and Gardaí erected a tent around the driveway
The incident is believed to have occurred between 11:30am and 12noon.
The body of the woman remains at the scene.
Forensic collision investigators are attending and a section of the Mill Park estate is currently closed to traffic.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.
