Cuala became just the second club to win both the All-Ireland senior Football and Hurling titles after they defeated Errigal Ciaran in the football decider yesterday by 4 points.

3 first half goals put the Dalkey side in the driving seat, but the Tyrone champions did manage to claw back the deficit to just 3 with minutes remaining.

Dublin star Con O'Callaghan kicked 6 points including 3 from play.

Na Fianna are AIB All-Ireland club hurling champions thanks to a 9 point dismantlement of Cork side Sarsfields at Croke Park yesterday afternoon.

A two-goal salvo from Tom Brennan proved the difference.
