The Italian won in straight sets, to ease into semi-finals.

He'll play Ben Shelton next, who had a four-set victory over Italy's Lorenzo Sonego.

Iga Swiatek dropped just three games as she beat Emma Navarro of the USA.

Madison Keys will play the five-time Grand Slam winner in the last-four of the women's singles.

Keys battled past Elina Svitolina in three sets in their quarter-final.
