A big weekend ahead for Kildare Ladies football.

On Sunday, the senior ladies play Wexford in the Leinster Intermediate final in Laois Hire O’Moore Park at 2pm.

Kfm will have full commentary of the game with Seamus Dillon and Tara Byrne, in association with Dowlings Bar, Ballyshannon

Ireland's Women's Four secured their place in the 'A' final after finishing third in this morning's repechage at the European Rowing Championships in Slovenia.

Olympic medallists Aifric Keogh, Eimear Lambe and Fiona Murtagh are joined by Tara Hanlon.

Siobhan McCrohan won her lightweight single sculls repechage this morning to also seal her spot in the A final.

Sanita Puspure and Zoe Hyde powered to victory in the Women's Double Sculls repechage, securing passage to the A final.

Aoife Casey and Margaret Cremen are also through to the 'A' final in the Lightweight Women's Double Sculls,

Later on, Fintan McCarthy and Hugh Moore will go in their semi-final of the men's lightweight double sculls, having edged out Poland in yesterday's heat.

McCarthy is seeking a third European title in a row

This time he is partnered by World U23 silver medallist Moore, who replaces Paul O'Donovan, with the latter currently sitting exams.
