The consortium is headed by barrister John Temple
The future of Dundalk Football Club is secure for now following a takeover by a consortium, headed by local barrister John Temple.
The club was on the brink of collapse, with debts of over 1 million euro.
Temple has said that players will be paid until the end of the season.
Dundalk are currently bottom of the SSE Airtricity Premier Division, one point behind Drogheda United.
They play Sligo Rovers on Saturday.
